The Victorian Government invested in their suburban roads to cater for the rapid population growth in Melbourne, including a $1.8 billion program of road upgrades and maintenance in the outer west. Aspect provided the risk management workshops prior to the project commencing.
WSP template and risk matrix was used for the completion of risk assessments.
Multi-disciplinary teams were included in the process to ensure the breadth of hazards had been properly risk assessed.
The risk management plan was documented using an initial and residual risk rating as well as a residual risk action plan tracker.
