Aspect was approached by BAE Systems at the Defence National Storage Distribution Centre in Moorebank to provide a risk assessment of 46 items of plant and machinery at the DNSDC site as well as 14 items at the Duntroon site.
The program covered items of plant and machinery used in a variety of workplaces including workshops, logistics stores and operational areas.
BAE Systems template and risk matrix was used for the completion of risk assessments.
Stakeholders were consulted during the process to allow for local knowledge of risks to be factored into the assessment.
Both immediate and medium- long term strategies and actions were identified to mitigate the risk.
